Keeping Your Colon Healthy
• Be sure to include high fiber foods in your diet. Eat fruits, vegetables, and whole grain foods.
• Limit red meats and processed foods.
• Drink eight or more glasses of water per day.
• Include regular exercise in your routine.
• Have a screening colonoscopy by age 50. If you have a family history of colon cancer consult your primary care
provider who may recommend that you get a colonoscopy at an earlier age
