    Friendship Day School for the Sciences and The Arts begins the open enrollment period ( October 21 – November 20) for the 2019 – 2020 school year.  Friendship Day School offers a rigorous academic program with a focus on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math along with The Fine Arts.  Available grades are Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

    Math Madness Registration OPENS

    Math Madness is back.  Students in grades 2nd – 8th will receive eight-two hour sessions of differentiated mathematics and reading comprehension instruction from certified teachers.  To encourage writing across the curriculum, writing lessons are integrated inside the mathematics and reading comprehension lessons.  High school students will receive five-three hours SAT Prep sessions.

    Dates:  Jan 12 and 26; Feb. 23; Mar 9 and 23; Apr. 13 and 27; May 11

    Tuition:  $60 tuition covers the cost of certified teachers and instructional materials.

    2019 Genealogy Classes & Symposium

    The African American History Ministry in partnership with the African American Historical and Genealogical Society (AAHGS) and the Comprehensive Genealogical Services (CGS), are sponsoring Beginning and Intermediate/Advanced Genealogy classes during the months of January and February, 2019.

    Classes will be held on Monday nights from 6:30 pm-8:00 pm on the following dates: January 14 and 28 (2019) and February 4, 11, and 18 (2019).  The classes will conclude with a Symposium on Saturday, Feb. 23.
