Civics 101: Interrupting the Cradle to the Prison Pipeline
Civics 101: Interrupting the Cradle to the Prison Pipeline will begin with a kickoff on Sunday, April 22, 2018 from 3pm – 5pm at FMBC Conference Center.
The purpose of this course is to present information about the increasing jail and prison population of African American males and females, its effects on the community and some methods for interrupting the system. Our History Comes to Life: “If There Were No Blacks in America” for K- 8th grades at the 7:30am, 9:30am and 11 :30am services on Sunday, April 29th in the Conference Center. Please join us for the second installation of our 5th Sunday program dedicated to our children. We offer a worship experience that highlights how Africans in America made this nation great. Wildlife Habitat Program
We are partnering with the North Carolina Wildlife Federation and Community Alliance for Wildlife to host the Wildlife Habitat Community Program. The purpose of the program is to 1) train community members on the importance of being good stewards of wildlife and 2) created a Certified Wildlife Habitat on the property at FMBC.

All Men are invited to join the Brotherhood Ministry for our 2018 Men’s Retreat, May 17th – May 19th at the scenic YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly located in the foothills of Black Mountain, North Carolina. Our hectic day to day life can be a barrage of work, commutes, family, to do lists and other tasks that distract us from God. Sometimes it’s important to take time away from the day to day to “Strengthen Our Relationship with God”.
