    Bridging Musical Worlds

    Celebrating the life and works of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., this collaborative concert is presented by A Sign of the Times, and features the Charlotte Folk Society, UNCC College of Arts & Architecture, and a portion of The Charlotte Symphony.  A portion of the proceeds from tickets sales go to support My Sister’s House. Tickets are available through Eventbrite, or at the door prior to the start of the concert.

    The African American Heritage Ministry (AAHM) is inviting you to be an exhibitor at our Genealogy Software Expo on Saturday, February 22, 2020 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  The fee for exhibitors is $85 per table to participate (includes a box lunch).

    Join us on the next Heritage Empowered HBCU tour.     Journey Along the Civil Rights Trail

    Join us as we step back in time to honor the people and places that changed what it means to have the right to vote! We will visit Birmingham, Montgomery and Selma, AL. The 4 day/3 night trip includes motor coach transportation, lodging,  3 breakfasts, 3 lunches, 2 dinners, historical site visits and admissions.

    The cost is $550 double occupancy, $700 single occupancy and $250* per youth under the age of 18  (when sharing a room with a full paying adult).  The $100 non-refundable deposit is due before January 3, 2020. Final payment due February 1, 2020.
