    College Awareness Workshops

    All middle school and high school students and parents are welcome to attend the College Awareness Workshops. Monthly workshops held on various college readiness topics leading up to a HBCU Fair on September 28th.  Select a date in the sessions option to learn more about each workshop.  All workshops will begin immediately following the 9:30am service and will be held in the Choir Room.

    July 28th:  “Show Me The Money”
    How to secure financial aid and scholarships.  Identifying scholarships unique to you.  Preparing to apply and when to apply

    August 25th:  “Writing your College Essay”
    What are colleges looking for in a college essay.  Selecting the topic and creating a uniquely you essay that will garner positive attention.
