Fitness Ministry

A collection of exercise activities lead by licensed fitness coaches and instructors throughout the week; class schedules and fees are managed by the individual instructors.  Classes include;  Yoga for Me, Saturday Morning Bootcamp, Stay Fit 4 Life, and Walk Team.  Contact class instructors and please bring water and towel to all fitness classes.

Sat, August 4th
, Team Walk – Dilworth neighborhood/Uptown. Park at Dilworth Elementary School, 405 E Park Ave. Meet at 7:30a.

Sat, August 11th, Team Walk – Highland Creek neighborhood. Meet at 7:30a at Ridge Road Middle School (7260 Highland Creek Parkway, Charlotte).

Sat, August 18th, Team Walk – Crowder’s Mountain Hike (522 Park Office Lane, Kings Mountain, NC). Team will meet at FMBC at 7:15a in front of the Conference Center to carpool. Walk at 8a.

Sat, August 25th, Team Walk – Mallard Creek Greenway. Park at new entry to greenway….201 E. Mallard Creek Church Road. Meet at 7:30a , Walk at 7:35a.

Sat, Sept 1st, Team Walk – FLEX TIME, Labor Day weekend.  Four Mile Creek Greenway (corner of Bevington Place & Rea Road) Park behind Trader Joe’s.   Meet at 7:30a.

Sat, Sept 8th, Team Walk and Meeting – FMBC/Northwood Estates.  Meet at 3400 / Team meeting to follow in room 359 – Meet at 7:30a.

Sat, Sept 15th, Team Walk – McAlpine Creek Greenway, 8711 Monroe Rd, Charlotte.  Meet at 7:30a (NOTE: FMBC Tailgating from 11a to 3p).

Sat, Sept 22rd, Road Trip – Pilot Mountain Hike (1792 Pilot Knob Park Road, Pinnacle, NC 27043).  Meet at FMBC at 6:30a to carpool. Walk at 8a.

Sat, Sept 29th, Team Walk – American Heart Walk (First Ward Park Uptown Charlotte – 301 East 7th Street).  Walk will start at 9a.  Team will meet at Dilworth Elementary at 7:30a and walk to First Ward Park.

 

Fitness Bootcamp

Bootcamp Training is designed to deliver the most efficient total body workout in the shortest amount of time.  The workout covers all areas of fitness combining serious strength training and cardio all in one.  Come join us!

$10 per class
Saturdays, 7:30a – 8:30a
Bring a friend, towel and some water
Results:  Burn 500-1,000 calories

First class free, $5 per week after.  Bring yoga mat
