Fitness Ministry

A collection of exercise activities lead by licensed fitness coaches and instructors throughout the week; class schedules and fees are managed by the individual instructors.  Classes include;  Yoga for Me, Saturday Morning Bootcamp, Zumba and Walk Team.  Contact class instructors and please bring water and towel to all fitness classes.

Sat, May 4th, Dilworth Neighborhood/Uptown. Park at Dilworth Elementary School near the tennis courts (405 E Park Avenue). Meet at 7:30a to walk.

Sat, May 4th, Community Walk/AIDS Walk – Wells Fargo Plaza & Atrium (2 miles) 301 S. Tryon St, Uptown Charlotte. Meet at 10:30a. Walk will begin at 11a

Sat, May 11th, Team Walk – Little Sugar Creek Greenway from Park Road Shopping Center. Park near Michael’s (4337 Park Rd). Meet at 7:30a to walk.

Sat, May 18th, Team Walk – Highland Creek neighborhood. Meet at Ridge Road Middle School (7260 Highland Creek Parkway). Walk at 7:30a.

Sat, May 18th, Community Walk – Walk to End Lupus at CPCC (425 North Kings Drive). Park at Dilworth Elementary School by the tennis courts. We will walk to Central Piedmont. Lupus walk is 1.25 miles. Meet at 10:30a – Walk at 11:00a.

Sat, May 25th, FLEX Time (Holiday weekend) – Four Mile Creek Greenway. Park near or behind Trader Joes (corner of Bevington Place & Rea Rd). Meet at 7:30a to walk.


Fitness Bootcamp

Bootcamp Training is designed to deliver the most efficient total body workout in the shortest amount of time.  The workout covers all areas of fitness combining serious strength training and cardio all in one.  Come join us!

$10 per class
Saturdays, 7:30a – 8:30a
Bring a friend, towel and some water
Results:  Burn 500-1,000 calories

Yoga for Me – 5:30pm – 6:30pm & 6:45pm – 7:45pm
Tuesday and Thursday, Friendship 3400 Fitness Center
First class free, $5 per week after.  Bring yoga mat

Zumba Move Your Body Mondays

Join us Mondays, 6:15p – 7:00p in the Friendship Gym.  Bring a towel and a bottle of water.

Register in class.  $5.00 per class or $20.00 a month.
