Fitness Ministry

A collection of exercise activities lead by licensed fitness coaches and instructors throughout the week; class schedules and fees are managed by the individual instructors.  Classes include;  Yoga for Me, Saturday Morning Bootcamp, Zumba and Walk Team.  Contact class instructors and please bring water and towel to all fitness classes.

Sat, Nov 3rd Team Walk Novant Health Charlotte 5K and half marathon Race will start at 7:45a on Graham Street in Uptown near Panthers Stadium. Park and meet at 7:15a in the Irwin Elementary school parking lot (329 N. Irwin Ave., Charlotte).

Sat, Nov 10th – Team Walk – River Hills SC (Gated community) – Team will meet at Publix, 8120 S Tryon St., Charlotte at 7a to carpool. Walk at 7:30a.

Sat, Nov17th – Team Walk – Reedy Creek Park (2900 Rocky River Rd, Charlotte) Meet at 7:30a by Shelter 1

Sat, Nov 24thFLEX TIME – Four Mile Creek Greenway – Park behind Trader Joes, 6418 Rea Rd (corner of Bevington Place & Rea Rd,) Charlotte. – Meet at 7:30a.

Sat, Dec. 1st – Team Walk – Freedom Park/Sugar Creek Greenway (1900 East Blvd, Charlotte) – Meet in Freedom Park at 7:30a by playground equipment.

Sat, Dec. 8th – Team Walk – FMBC – Northwood Estates neighborhood– Meet at 7:30a at 3400 Beatties Ford Road in front of the conference center. Team meeting at 9a to plan 2019 walks. Interested members who would like to learn more about the walk team are welcome to attend.

Sat, Dec. 15th –Team Walk – Mallard Creek Greenway – Park at 201 E. Mallard Creek Church Road –Meet at 7:30a.

Sat, Dec. 22ndFLEX Time (Holiday weekend) – Four Mile Creek Greenway – Park near behind Trader Joes (corner of Bevington Place & Rea Rd, Charlotte). – Meet at 7:30a.

 

Fitness Bootcamp

Bootcamp Training is designed to deliver the most efficient total body workout in the shortest amount of time.  The workout covers all areas of fitness combining serious strength training and cardio all in one.  Come join us!

$10 per class
Saturdays, 7:30a – 8:30a
Bring a friend, towel and some water
Results:  Burn 500-1,000 calories

Join us Mondays, 6:15p – 7:00p in the Friendship Gym.  Bring a towel and a bottle of water.
