April Calendar
April 1 is April Fool’s Day! It’s
okay to giggle, laugh and be silly on this day.
April 8th – Solar Eclispe - A solar eclipse happens when the moon passes between the Earth and
the sun in a path that positions the moon in front of the sun from our
viewpoint. The moon, sun, and Earth are directly aligned.
DO NOT view a solar
eclipse with unprotected eyes. Permanent damage to your vision may occur.
Special solar viewing glasses are needed to protect your vision. The protection
afforded by regular sunglasses is insufficient.
April
22: Earth Day is a
worldwide event that occurs annually. More
than a billion people celebrate Earth Day to protect the planet from things
like pollution. By picking up litter and
planting trees, we’re making our world a happier, healthier place to live.
And, of course, as we all know, “April
showers bring May flowers,”!
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Thank
you, FMBC Families, for your generous
donations of “Easter Bunnies” for Levine Children’s Hospital. We
delivered 193 Easter Bunnies to Levine Children’s Hospital on March 30th.
April
14th and 28th: Please join us for Children’s Church/Sunday School at
10:00am in the Choral Room. Youth
Worship/Small Groups is held at 10:00am in the Conference Center.
In
honor of Mother’s Day on May 12th, we will not have Children’s
Church/Sunday School and Youth Worship/Small Groups. Instead, we will convene on May 19th and May 26th.
