The Community Table at Friendship aspires to engage the Church family and Community to bring non-perishable food items to help stock area food pantries, agencies, and assist area churches to feed the poor and hungry. Your gifts of service, donations, and prayers are truly appreciated.
Since its inception in 2008, The Community Table at Friendship Missionary Baptist has been a conduit of God's continued display of abundance as we feed body and spirit of those who are hungry and struggling in Charlotte Mecklenburg and beyond.
Items Needed For December Community Table:
* Broths [vegetable, chicken, beef]
* Can or bottled mixed greens, corn, sweet potatoes, beets, green beans, peas, asparagus, lentil peas
* Can meats [chicken breast, corn beef, roast beef, Spam, Vienna Sausages, Turkey (all natural)]
* Pancake mix and variety of syrups
* Grits
* Rice
* Variety of cake mix and frostings
* Cooking oil
* Assortment of can salmon, beef stew,
* Ramen noodles
* Raisins
* Breakfast bars
* Fruit cups
* Fruit snacks [apple sauce, peaches, mixed fruits]
* Preserves and jellies
* Assortment of crackers
* Fresh fruits and vegetables are accepted between December 3-7
