New Member Classes

Christian Life And Service Seminars (C.L.A.S.S.) focus on Friendship’s core values, mission, vision and strategy; principles of spiritual growth, how to study the Bible, tithing, prayer; develop a biblical theological understanding of ministry. 

Membership CLASSes:
(Adult 15 years old and older)

C.L.A.S.S. 101  - "Discovering Church Membership" The first seminar in this process is Christian Life and Service Seminar (C.L.A.S.S.) 101 - “Discovering Membership”, where you will be introduced to Friendship’s core values, mission, vision and strategy. This basic introduction to our church family is designed to clearly explain who and what our church is about. The CLASS is divided into four sessions covering: Our Salvation; Our Statements; Our Strategy; Our Structure.

C.L.A.S.S. 201 - "Discovering Maturity" The goal of this class is for persons to commit to the habits necessary for spiritual maturity. This seminar will introduce the following topics: Fundamental understanding of the Bible’s content and structure; introducing tools to aide in hearing, reading, studying, memorizing and meditating on God’s Word. The seminar ends with an “Application Journey” that will guide you through practical application of what you have learned.

C.L.A.S.S. 501 - "Biblical Stewardship" To share scriptures on the Biblical Principles of Stewardship and Tithing. To encourage members to be faithful practicing stewards through tithing. To provide information about opportunities for volunteerism, locally and globally through mission and ministry offerings of time, talent, influence and finances. To share information about the financial structure of FMBC as a tithing and beyond church.

Youth C.L.A.S.S. 101 - Youth ages 6 – 14 years old are required to have Youth Consult with Sis. Barbara James (704-391-3844) must be approve to attend Youth C.L.A.S.S. 101 on the 1st Saturday of each month.
