The Youth Leadership Program at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church is designed to invest in the next generation of leaders by helping students grow both personally and spiritually. This program provides high school students in 10th–12th grade with the opportunity to strengthen their leadership skills, deepen their relationship with God, and build meaningful connections with other young people in our faith community.
Through intentional teaching, group discussions, and hands-on experiences, students will learn how to lead with confidence, character, and integrity—grounded in biblical principles. Participants will be challenged to discover their God-given gifts, develop strong communication and decision-making skills, and learn what it means to lead by serving others.
This program also creates space for students to connect with peers who are walking through similar seasons of life, fostering authentic relationships, accountability, and spiritual growth within a Christ-centered community.
The Youth Leadership Program runs January through June, meeting consistently throughout the semester to allow students to grow, reflect, and apply what they are learning over time.
If your student is ready to grow as a leader, strengthen their faith, and connect with other young leaders at Friendship, this program is for them.
