Scripture: Ruth
1:16-22. The origin of the wedding vow was between a mother and
daughter-in-law, umm!
Thought: After
the numerous losses Naomi experienced in Moab, she returns to Bethlehem. Though
she stressed that the daughter-in-law should remain in Moab, Ruth’s covenant
was to journey with Naomi. Vows of remaining consistent, faithful, and loving
apply to significant relationships, not just marriage.
Prayer: God, I
owe you an apology. Being loving, consistent, and faithful to you is a process.
Thank you so much for never divorcing me when my process has seasons of
stagnation. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
