Theme: I’ll Be With You as You Go Through
Today’s Scripture: Isaiah 43:1–3
Scripture: “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you… When you walk
through fire, you shall not be burned… For I am the Lord your God.” - Isaiah
43:1–3
Thought: God does not promise to remove deep waters or fire but promises to stay
with us through them. What should have consumed us did not because God stayed.
Our survival becomes a testimony to a divine love that refuses to let us
disappear.
Prayer: Faithful God, remain with us when life gets overwhelming. Hold us steady
in your presence when waters rise and let your nearness be our peace. Amen.
Positive Practice: Place your hand over your heart for one minute,
breathing slowly and remembering: “God is with me here.”
Lenten Emphasis - Heart Health for African Americans: Deep breathing and intentional pauses
protect cardiovascular health by calming the nervous system.
Mission Emphasis - HBCUs: Support HBCUs that guide students
through difficult waters toward thriving futures. Support their work through
mentorship and giving.
