Theme: Intercedes for Adonijah, Solomon’s eldest brother
and rival, for a favor him.
Today’s Scripture: 1 Kings 2:13-22(Adonijah ask favor of
Bethsheba, humbles himself that he was self-proclaimed King and recognizes
Solomon as King appointed by the LORD.)
Thought: The LORD’s plan will be revealed, despite
human intervention and a self-proclaimed agenda. Adonijah recognized this. The
LORD’s plan is revealed in God’s timing, the LORD is exalted and recognized as
the right one to follow.
Prayer: Most gracious and beneficent God, we seek
your will for our lives. We ask that we seek your will and plan in every area
of our lives. LORD, please surround us with the discernment, People, and
resources to know the difference between our will and your will. In the mighty
name of Jesus, AMEN.
Positive Practice: Seek God in everything you do
to make sure God’s will and plan aligns with your plan and agenda before you
act on your plan and agenda first. Every situation is not meant for you to win
or be the leader.

skip breakfast, unless it’s an intentional or intermittent fast.
