The DeiVision of Children & Youth seek to facilitate the
spiritual journey of Children, Youth, and Parents toward global
discipleship through holistic teaching, biblical stewardship, and
mission in accordance with the broader vision of Friendship Missionary
Baptist Church.
The Blessing and Dedication of infants is offered for members with infants under the age of 2 years. Baby Dedication is held on the 5th Sunday of each month during worship service.
The Boy Scouts of America is an Organization for boys that promote citizenship, leadership and character development through camping, skill development and service to others. Pack 63 welcomes K-5th grade boys. We meet on Tuesdays from 6:30pm to 8pm.
A mentoring program that allows boys to get a chance to interact with positive men and other boys in our church and community.
Bible Study for children and youth is offered every Wednesday night at 7:00pm in the 2nd Floor Classrooms.

The goal of the College Outreach Ministry is to provide a Christian Baptist Ministry witness for students through activities on and off campus from the months of September through April. The College Outreach Ministry supports FMBC and local college students with care packages, fellowship opportunities and workshops.
Since 1930, the Boy Scouts of America has helped younger boys through Cub Scouting. It is a year-round family program designed for boys who are in the first grade through fifth grade (or 7,8,9 and 10 years of age).
The purpose of Girl Scouting is to inspire girls with the highest ideals of character, conduct, patriotism and service that they may become happy and resourceful citizens.
A mentoring program that allows girls to meet and interact with positive adult role models in our church and community. Meetings are held every Third Saturday at 10:00am at 3301 Campus.
The goal of Awards/Graduate Sunday is to acknowledge the achievements of students who are graduating from kindergarten, elementary, middle, high school, college, trade schools and graduate level programs. All graduates are recognized the first Sunday in June.

The Nursery Ministry provides a Christian, nurturing, loving and safe environment for infants-4 years old during worship services. The Nursery consists of lead staff, parent, non-parent, and youth volunteers. Volunteers interact with the children by reading stories, singing, supervising games, holding babies as needed and assisting the lead staff.
The Parent’s Ministry is designed to minister to the educational and spiritual needs of Friendship parents. The purpose of the Parent’s Ministry purpose is to educate and empower parents of school age children develop positive Christian modes of discipline and build a community of parental support.
The recreation ministry develops a Holistic Fitness Ministry, at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, that embraces the community so as to provide enriching lifetime activities to its members and the surrounding community.
Shabach Dance Ministry, founded by former youth minister Rev Cheryl D Moore began in 1998 with male and female youth of several ages with a strong passion to praise and worship through the art of dance.
A ministry for 8th grade students to help them get ready for the transition to High School.
The Youth Mission groups meet to emphasize the importance of Christian mission projects for children and youth ages 5-18. Completed mission projects are based upon the mission emphasis for the month.
The tech team provides AV and technical support for youth events and youth worship service.
Youth Toastmasters provide education and skill development in public speaking and leadership skills for high school students. The 10 week session is held on Sundays from 1:30-3:30pm each Spring (Feb – May). Check website for dates.
Youth in grades 7 – 12 who are interested in welcoming worshipers with a warm smile are welcome to join us. Members of the Ushers Ministry greet worshipers, seats worshipers; lift the tithes and offering, and other related duties.
Youth Worship is a worship service geared to middle and high school students. Youth worship is held every Sunday at 9:30am and 11:30am in the Choir Room.
Youthful praise is the middle and high school aged choir. The choir started in October 2003 with 12 charter members and continues to grow throughout the years.
